High Dynamic Range Image Capture with Plenoptic 2.0 Camera

چکیده
We demonstrate high dynamic range (HDR) imaging with the Plenoptic 2.0 camera. Multiple exposure capture is achieved with a single shot using microimages created by microlens array that has an interleaved set of different apertures. © 2009 Optical Society of America OCIS codes: (040.1490) Cameras, 110.5200 Photography.

Towards a Database of High-dimensional Plenoptic Images
The plenoptic function was introduced as a convenient, ray-based model for light that includes the color spectrum as well as spatial, temporal, and directional variation [1]. Throughout the last decade, an ever increasing number of approaches to acquiring individual plenoptic dimensions have been proposed [4]. We discuss the acquisition of experimental datasets that capture a variety of differe...
متن کاملSuperresolution with Plenoptic Camera 2 . 0
This work is based on the plenoptic 2.0 camera, which captures an array of real images focused on the object. We show that this very fact makes it possible to use the camera data with super-resolution techniques, which enables the focused plenoptic camera to achieve high spatial resolution. We derive the conditions under which the focused plenoptic camera can capture radiance data suitable for ...
متن کاملA Reconfigurable Camera Add-On for igh Dynamic Range, Multispectral, Polarization, and Light-Field Imaging
We propose a non-permanent add-on that enables plenoptic imaging with standard cameras. Our design is based on a physical copying mechanism that multiplies a sensor image into a number of identical copies that still carry the plenoptic information of interest. Via different optical filters, we can then recover the desired information. A minor modification of the design also allows for aperture ...
متن کاملFocused Plenoptic Camera and Rendering Focused Plenoptic Camera and Rendering
Plenoptic cameras, constructed with internal microlens arrays, capture both spatial and angular information, i.e., the full four-dimensional radiance, of a scene. The design of traditional plenoptic cameras assumes that each microlens image is completely defocused with respect to the image created by the main camera lens. As a result, only a single pixel in the final image is rendered from each...
متن کاملRecent Development of Volumetric PIV with a Plenoptic Camera
The recent development of a volumetric PIV system utilizing the unique light-field capturing capabilities of a plenoptic camera is described. The fundamental concept of a plenoptic camera, including a distinction between plenoptic 1.0 and plenoptic 2.0 is given, along with an illustration of the ability to computationally refocus an image after it has been acquired. A synthetic image generator ...
